What is the new onshore power facility in Copenhagen?

The new onshore power facility in Copenhagen port, co-financed by the EU, is the largest in Europe. The facility will be able to supply electricity to cruise ships docking at Oceankaj and Langelinie terminals, and to ferries docking at Sondre Frihavn.

Does powerCON provide shore power solutions for container terminals?

Over the recent years, PowerCon has started to supply shore power solutions for container terminals. Creating a new project named “PowerFlex”, PowerCon set out to design and implement low-cost and flexible shore power supply for containerships and include onboard battery charging into the system design.
