What is CATL's new energy storage system?

This is CATL's new move in the energy storage space after the April 2024 release of Tener, an energy storage system with zero degradation for five years. Tener is a standard 20-foot containerized energy storage system with a total capacity of 6.25 MWh, the highest energy in the world at the time.

How do data centers ensure business continuity?

To ensure business continuity, data centers today rely on a complex system of lithium-ion batteries or lead acid batteries powering backup generators and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), to guarantee uptime in the event of grid power failure.

Why should a data center have a HSC?

For customers, the HSC offers reliability and reassurance. The HSC has a high power density (or C-rate*), meaning it can be recharged in a much shorter time frame, making it ideal to provide service continuity in the event of consecutive power outages within a data center.
