Are high voltage solar panels better than low voltage?

When deciding between high voltage and low voltage solar panels, keep in mind that higher voltage systems are more efficient in general for your off-grid solar power system. A 48V system is the most efficient and cost-effective per watt-hour generated as compared to 24V and 12V systems.

Do higher voltage solar panels work?
